IF YOU WERE TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY RIGHT NOW, WHAT MIGHT IT SAY?
Are you tired? Maybe you can give yourself a nap or promise (and KEEP that promise) yourself early night? Maybe a trauma sensitive yoga nidra will help you in the meantime (you can access several for free through the Feel Better Every Day site and YouTube) as well as brand new ones to support each week’s theme in the Extra Embodied membership.
A day off work?
A ride on a rollercoaster? (I’ve never in my LIFE wanted to go on a rollercoaster but woke up this morning thinking it could be fun!)
Perhaps you’re hungry?
In need of a good stretch or hug or some kind of movement?
Maybe you just want to drink some water?
Go out and open your arms wide to the wind (here in the west of Ireland) and imagine it taking ALL your strains and stresses and sending them deep into the earth to be recycled for the benefit of the planet? (Am hoping for a soul cleansing and very careful and safe sea swim later but it’s so windy, I think a walk will be safer.)
Perhaps you’re not tired but want to curl up under the duvet and sit or lie in the dark for a while. Let your nervous system reset.
Maybe you want to dance or sing?
