Do you speak up when you witness injustice?
When the throat chakra energy is in balance, we assert ourselves beautifully. With love AND power. If underactive, we don’t speak up for ourselves or others. When it’s overactive, we might go too far
It’s normal to feel a bit (or a lot) anxious when you make yourself visible by saying something uncomfortable for yourself or someone else but silence is often taken as consent and the more we can all speak up for our fellow earth dwellers, the safer the planet becomes for all of us.
What would you like to lend your voice to?
When you think about something that’s going on in the world or in your personal life right now, what makes you want to scream with rage?
What do you wish you could do more to stop / start?
Think of the bravest person you know (maybe in real life, maybe online or through telly or history or even fiction) and ask yourself, What might THEY do? How might THEY speak up against this injustice?
Can you do even a tiny bit of that? How does it feel to imagine it?
Don’t worry if your response is, Uh uh. No way. Not gonna even THINK about it – too scary. That’s fine. Be gentle with yourself. But keep imagining what it might be like to start using your voice.
